Evaluation Study
Many rural artisans continue to live at subsistence level in rural areas, using traditional tools., It is felt that they can earn higher income in their traditional crafts by using modern tools. Therefore It is proposed to provide improved tool-kits to all trained craft persons ie. 2550 within limit of Rs. 3000.00 . The selection of improved tools and tool kits relevant to different artisan trades is to be decided by RTI in consultation with NID ,NIFT and craft persons. Rs. 76.50 will be required for toolkit distribution
