GRIMCO (Gujarat Rural Industries Marketing Corporation Ltd ) is established in 1979. Registered under the Company Act 1956. It is fully financed & prompted by Government of Gujarat and working for benefit of Cottage sector.
It is also to be notice that Government of Gujarat has merged its Gujarat State Leather Industry Development Corporation with GRIMCO ( a fully Govt. of Gujarat undertaking ) which was assigned the work of development of leather sector of the State. in March 2001. Since the merged the GRIMCO has taken up leather sector development programme through cooperative societies engaged in tanning, Leather Articles and Footwear making. |
